The Xi’an project has been actively organizing social responsibility activities to enhance social responsibility awareness. On December 31, 2020, the third charity event with the theme of “Little Love, Boat Delivery of Hope” was held to bring warmth to children in impoverished mountainous areas.
The outdoor weather of minus 10 degrees Celsius couldn’t stop the hot footsteps of the crew. With the blessings of all the crew members of the Xi’an project, 16 crew members sent supplies to the children and brought warmth to their winter days.
As a charity event that has been held for three consecutive years, as early as early December, the Human Resources and Administration Department of the Xi’an project called on all its own employees and brand employees to raise funds for children in impoverished mountainous areas. The event received a warm response from all employees, and Mr. Ma Lin, the General Manager of the Xi’an project, took the lead in raising funds. The crew members used their practical actions to contribute to the children, and according to statistics, they received a total of 35000 yuan in donations. According to the material needs of the donation site, we carefully purchased backpacks, stationery, sports equipment, scarves and gloves, as well as extracurricular reading materials.
The campus, which used to be lively and playful, became quiet and orderly with the arrival of the crew. The Young Pioneers first put on red scarves for the five representatives, and the volunteer crew members stepped forward in turn to put on scarves for the children. The boys wore gray and the girls wore pink, creating a lively and loving atmosphere on site. Customized backpacks were distributed to the children, with the red Sand Ship logo prominently displayed on them. Children are the future of our country, and their growth requires attention from all sectors of society. I hope this activity can provide children with spiritual assistance, enrich their extracurricular life, and sprinkle sunshine in their hearts.
