Shaanxi Xi’an Children’s Village and “Shaanxi Returned Children Rescue Center” was established in August 1995. It is a purely charitable charity organization. It is a non-profit private non-enterprise unit. There are currently 52 children, all of whom are school-age children. The students are studying at Elk Village Primary School and Xi’an Bayi Middle School near the village. There are also some older children studying in high schools, technical secondary schools, vocational schools, and universities in the urban area. All the housing, appliances, and other living materials in the center are donated by caring people.
After a month of contact and on-site inspections, SASSEUR (Xi’an) Outlets finally selected Shaanxi Returned Children’s Rescue Center as the donation subject for this caring activity. On December 22, 2018, after two weeks of online and offline donations, a total of 20,500 yuan was collected, more than 410 pieces of clothing were donated, and more than 516 people (including brand salespeople) participated in the fundraising; 4,000 yuan is used for purchasing donated materials (rice noodles oil and other daily necessities), and the remaining 16,500 yuan is donated on site.
