Mr. Xu founded Sasseur Group in 1989, and is currently the chairman of the board of Sasseur Group. He is an innovative leader with artistic passions, acute business insight and outstanding strategic planning capability.
As the founder of Sasseur Group and a pioneer in Chinese art commerce business ideology, Vito Xu creates a super outlet empire with his unique artistic approach. With 30 years of experience focusing on the outlet mall operation led by the art commerce DNA, under the guideline of the Sasseur Super Thinking system that features emotional thinking, aesthetic thinking, scene thinking and capital thinking, he initiates the new business
concept of “Art Commerce Super Outlets” in 2016 and brings innovation to the outlets industry with his unique “A × (1+N) × DT” business model. Under the leadership of Vito Xu, Sasseur Group has grown into a Top 500 Chinese Service Enterprise and is the sponsor of the first outlet mall real estate investment trust listed on SGX, as well as the leading super outlets brand in the global outlet industry.
Vito Xu was lauded by various institutions for his contribution to the development of the industry. As a testimony to his achievements, his many awards includes “the Knight of the Order of the Italian Star” by the Italian president, “Meritorious Figure of the 40th Anniversary of China’s Commercial Reform and Opening-up”, “Outstanding Asian Entrepreneur” etc.
Sasseur Yang
Co-Chairman of the Board
Ms. Yang is the co-founder of Sasseur Outlets and is currently the co- chairman of the board of Sasseur Group.
As co-founder of Sasseur Outlets, Sasseur Yang is a key figure in the strategic development of the group. With her ingrained fashion sense and delicate but decisive business actions, she contributed in many roles in the development of the company, especially in the areas of public relations, international brand leasing, strategic planning etc. consolidating the collaboration between Sasseur and the brands, leading up to the successful opening of the first Sasseur outlet in Chongqing. She is the endorser of Sasseur Group’s corporate culture.
Sasseur Yang is responsible for the strategic development of the group, heading the group’s nomination & remuneration committee, international brand centre, and leading Sasseur REIT, Sasseur branding, human resources and domestic & international public relations.
She was named “ Most Stylish Figure of 2019” by Yaok Institute
Cesare Xu
Executive Director
Mr. Cesare Xu is the co-founder of Sasseur Group and serves as Executive Director of the group.
Since 1990s, as the cofounder of Sasseur Group and the guardian of Sasseur Art Commerce, Cesare Xu, in his diligent, pragmatic and rigorous manner, has contributed greatly in the development of Sasseur Group. With over 30 years rich experience in the industry, particularly in the professional fields of construction, engineering, materials, cost and risk control, he’s been leading the team and playing the core role in prompting Sasseur Group to be the leader in Asia while contributing in the creative development of global outlet industry. In view of his outstanding contributions, Cesare Xu won the awards of 2019 Top 10 Economic Personages of Chongqing, and 2020 Chongqing Bishan Talent. He is also the representative of People’s Congress in Bishan District, Chongqing.
Mr. Xu now serves as Executive Director of Sasseur Group and Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee (ARC). He is responsible for the risk control and compliance management of Sasseur Group, and presides over the group’s Audit Department, Supervision Department and Procurement & Cost Management Center.
